There’s a road that runs parallel to the secrets that I keep, and it’s the reason that you’ll never see what lights are guiding me. If you’d ever loved a growing thing, I’d show you the way, but you still wouldn’t know what to say. Your barriers are built with stones that beat me to the ground. Does it hurt, to feel the distance amplify that sound? I was trying to grow, but what goes around came back around. Your soul’s nothing more than a space between thoughts.
